Alexa Kershner

Alexa Kershner, Collaborating Teaching Artist: Movement, is a teaching artist working across the disciplines of theatre and dance. She is in her sixth year teaching at the LA County High School for the Arts (LACHSA). Alexa taught a movement-based class at Hands for Hope LA, an organization that provides support to at-risk youth ages 8–18 from low-income, predominantly minority households. Alexa has most recently worked with TheatreWorkers Project, co-directing three performance pieces with Susie Tanner for the Moving Forward program at Dad’s Back! Academy and TWP’s Life Stories from the Inside/Out program at California State Prison, LAC – Lancaster.
