Lee Gibson, Reentry Through the Arts Liaison, has been working with TheatreWorkers Project since 2019. He believes that true representation of self spills from the soul through the Arts and that the world is beautiful because of the art that beautifully designed people create. Lee also works for a non-profit that educates people, inside and outside of prison, about the California political process of changing laws and policies. Lee is also an editor and privately consults with other transitioning organizations regarding interpersonal communication and organizational structures, frameworks, and missions that require adaptation.
As a consultant and a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications, Lee continuously strives to bring out the artist that lives within everyone so that they can freely be the magnificent person they are meant to be. In addition, Lee is a freelance editor (Prison BA Journal from California State University, Los Angeles) and develops self-help curriculums for people struggling with addictions or behavioral issues, including anger management, communication, toxic masculinity, and abuse.
